Is this antenna going to work for my purpose? - winegard tv antenna
I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, but it will take place some time in an aunts house in Tacoma, Washington.
While I stayed there I would be in a position to the normal TV channels Vancouver (CBC, CTV, Global, ... to see)
Since Tacoma about 200 km (approx. 175mi) south of Vancouver, one would Winegard HD8200U Platinum Series High Definition VHF / Buy a UHF TV antenna, see the hope of improving the reception of some channels on TV Vancouver and my aunt .
My question is: Is it possible to use this antenna to pick up channels of Vancouver? see if there is no possibility of the local TV stations in Vancouver in a pay-TV service?

I think your only hope of channels available on the Internet.
Start by selecting the channels you want the site to see if the sample flow line. (Probably not)
If you have high-speed Internet, both in Vancouver and Tacoma, it would be possible to stream channels themselves.
The best known of this approach is that a "Slingbox in the transmitter you time" to see the channel with a team on the welcome page.

This distance is too far. All that is over 90 km will be nullified. You can try the Winegard as high as possible, but you will be disappointed. I do not know anything about the pay-TV options out there.
Dish or Direct TV channel can carry from Canada, but also the best antenna to a tower of a power amplifier only between 80 and get 100 miles more (120 to 165 km)
