Can I cook food in a foil packet on top of a gas range? - foil food containers
I do not want in the oven, slide the grill or light, but I like the idea of cooking with aluminum foil.
When I cook a packet with two layers of aluminum foil and place it hard on the tip of the burner and do not place them?
I use a food thermometer to ensure that the right time to make. Thank you.

Vegetables do well all the time and are large. I do not see why you can not do other things. Gas stove is actually a grill.
I would not. Sheet tends to melt, but it is my opinion. I've tried the paper, had to use a gas stove, and nothing but trouble.
But it is my opinion.
