For a single projector, you need to keep a pair of convex lenses, a light bulb, and something about the film.

The first lens collects the light bulb as possible and concentrate through the slides and the second lens.

The second objective is positioned so that projects an image of the slide that you use as a screen.

http://www.diyprojectorcompany.com/theor ... has a simple description of the use of an LCD screen instead of a film, but the main thing is the same. You do not have a Fresnel lens of a slide projector - it's just a clever way to get a great lens that you make for large LCD panels. An important improvement that can overcome the simple scheme presented here is to use a spherical reflector behind the lamp. If properly placed, much of the fire back that were lost, is back to the bulb against.

http://www.edmundoptics.com/techSupport/ ... has a technical description. The Grid is the foil. In this method, an optical fiber, but not necD,, just put your attention where the tip of the fiber. It was also agreed that an effective double-lens (the light from the condenser system), and the desire to improve the quality of the two achromatic doublets to improve the image project to collect. Do not worry for a single projector, do not need it. If you need to write what you have done, could then be referred to as a means to make the best projectors.

Good luck

You have to light, and the slides, a sort of camera shake.
